Science is dominated by the English language. Imagine the wealth of natural history and ecological knowledge in the many ecological journals published in languages other than English. And imagine if universities engaged permanent translation staff to help researchers access this information…
This list of non-English ecology journals (broadly defined to include biology, entomology, botany, agriculture etc.) will remain a work in progress – please add suggestions in the comments.
